What's good family. If you missed the 2024 PFL World Championship on November 29th, you better be prepared to fast foward through hours in between the replays because this event was straight-up LONGGGG. But on the bright side, these division finals, plus a cool $1 million on the line for each champ—this night was MMA at its finest. Let’s break down the action, highlight style.
The Moments That Had Everyone Talking:
1. Dakota Ditcheva Owns the Cage
Dakota Ditcheva isn’t just undefeated—she’s untouchable. And a ITC favorite. She can do no wrong for the next few days. She handed Taila Santos the first stoppage loss of her career. “Dangerous Ditcheva” is redefining dominance. Santos came in hot but left realizing Ditcheva’s relentless attack is something else.
2. Denis Goltsov Finally Gets His Moment
Goltsov’s been grinding in the PFL for years, and his persistence finally paid off. A first-round triangle choke against Oleg Popov ended a 17-fight win streak and gave Goltsov the heavyweight crown. Next up? He’s calling out Francis Ngannou. Now will that fight happen? We'll see.
3. Shamil Musaev’s KO Clinic
If you blinked, you might’ve missed Shamil Musaev’s lethal strikes that ended Magomed Umalatov’s night. Musaev remains undefeated at 20-0-1 and proved why they call him “The Silent Assassin.” This dude doesn’t just win—he destroys.
4. Dovlet Yagshimuradov Wastes No Time
Defending champ Impa Kasanganay didn’t even last a minute against Yagshimuradov, who blasted his way to the Light Heavyweight title in just 58 seconds. First season in the PFL, first championship—this guy’s making waves. For Kasanganay, one must question if he should make a drop to middleweight as he is very undersized for the division.
5. Gadzhi Rabadanov’s KO to Remember
Brent Primus learned the hard way not to leave openings against Rabadanov, who delivered a vicious third-round knockout to claim the Lightweight title. That face-plant KO? One for the highlight reels. Salute to Brent for going down swinging. It was obvious he was hurt several times during this fight but he powered through and gave us the fans a great performance.
