Feel that? Scrapping is in the air. If you missed ONE Championship's Fight Night 26, let me break it down: it was your punch in and punch out card featuring banger fights, cool production, and a fun crowd. Bangkok was buzzing.
The Main Event: Lee vs. Rasulov
Christian Lee? Total legend. Alibeg Rasulov? Young, hungry, fighting to claim gold. Unfortuantely, this fight was ruled a no contest due to a accidental eye poke by Lee. We definitely expect these two to run it back.
Co-Main Event Showstoppers
Nakrob Fairtex vs. Kongthoranee Sor Sommai
A Muay Thai showdown that could’ve headlined its own event. Kongthoranee Sor Sommai edged out Nakrob Fairtex.
Mayssa Bastos vs. Danielle Kelly
This result sucked. primarily, because we are team Danielle Kelly over here. This rematch had drama written all over it. Bastos won a pretty even fight but taking a clutch leg lock late in the round secured her victory. Both ladies should be proud. Ultimately, it is Bastos walking out with her Atomweight Submission Grappling belt.
Fights That Stole the Show
Reece McLaren vs. Jarred Brooks
A chess match in the cage. McLaren’s split decision win showed his resilience and ability to adapt under pressure.
Elias Mahmoudi vs. Denis Puric
Knockout. Third round. Enough said. Mahmoudi put on a striking clinic that’s going viral as I type.
Shinya Aoki vs. Cole Abate
The young lion Cole Abate choked out veteran Shinya Aoki in the first round, making it clear he’s not just hype—he’s the future of American grappling.
Undercard Gems
• Yuya Wakamatsu? Dominated Gilbert Nakatani in Flyweight MMA.
• Dante Leon’s first-round submission on Bruno Pucci? Chef’s kiss.
• Thongpoon PK Saenchai brought the fireworks with a TKO win over Danial Williams in the second round.
More good fights to come from ONE Championship to close out the year. Stay tuned. Oss.
